About MedLync
We are building the connective tissue of African healthcare — the infrastructure layer that makes the system work as one.
Our mission is simple. Our problem is not.
Africa's healthcare systems are fragmented by design — built in silos, funded in silos, and operated in silos. The result is a continent where a patient's records don't follow them between hospitals, where a pharmacist cannot verify a prescription, and where an ambulance crew knows nothing about the patient they are rushing to save.
MedLync exists to end that fragmentation. We build the infrastructure layer that connects patients, providers, payers, and governments — so that data flows safely to where it is needed, when it is needed.
What guides every decision we make
Patient First
Every product decision starts with one question: does this make the patient safer, better informed, or better served? If not, we don't build it.
Radical Transparency
We are open about what we build, how it works, and where we fall short. Trust is earned through consistency, not marketing.
Built for Africa
Not adapted for Africa. Designed from first principles for low-bandwidth environments, multilingual populations, and resource-constrained facilities.
Privacy by Default
Patient data belongs to the patient. We enforce that principle technically — not just in policy documents.
Speed with Care
Healthcare cannot wait, but neither can it afford to be careless. We move fast while maintaining the rigour that patient safety demands.
Ecosystem Thinking
We succeed when the entire health ecosystem succeeds. We build open standards, share knowledge, and partner broadly.
